After being introduced to the dental field in high school, I decided to pursue a dental assisting career. These last 10 years as a dental assistant have propelled me to further my education to become a Registered Dental Hygienist which has brought a great sense of fulfillment & joy to my personal & professional life. I graduated from the Northern Virginia Community College Dental Hygiene Program with great honors. If I were to be an animal, I would be a horse since I’m active, a fast learner, loyal & a hard worker. I really enjoy building relationships with patients & educating them about the importance of oral health since it can help prevent so many other systemic problems.

When I was young, I was introduced to the dental field by a passionate and emphatic dentist who was able to magically alleviate my fear of the dental chair. Amazed by this experience, I pursued a career as a dental hygienist which has led me to Everlasting Dental Care, a family group who shares my passion and care for those we are lucky to serve. Today, I emulate that experience with each patient I encounter which has proudly earned me the nick name “softy hands or angel hands” with the patients under my care. I consider it a privilege to come to work every day and make a difference in someone’s life.

If I were an animal, I would be a dolphin because of their playful, inquisitive nature and strong social bonds. They care for their sick and are the only ones that can stand up to an apex predator like the shark. In short, a happy, sweet, yet fierce personality would be a good description of me.

Business Team

Christina: Patient Coordinator

Christina LaBella Chan

I’ve been in the dental field for over 8 years, starting off as a dental assistant before learning the administrative side. Having braces & growing confident with my smile is what motivated me to join the dental field. My goal is to be able to educate & help give everyone that confident smile. A smile can change someone’s entire day.

If I could be any animal, I would be a dog. They love to explore & learn new things & they adapt to different situations easily. They are loyal, funny & caring. “A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than itself.”

Tayona: Patient Coordinator

I am a mother of 3 amazing children. I watched my mom run a dental office, which prompted me to learn & since then I’ve grown to LOVE dentistry! When I’m not chasing around my kids, I am giving back to the community. My goal is to make every person I come in contact with smile. If I were an animal I would be a butterfly; I can transform into something amazing.

Wandeline: Financial Coordinator

Wandeline Calderon

I’ve been working in the dental field for over 15 years. I started assisting & now have knowledge of all aspects clinical & administrative. I see myself as a Phoenix: never ending, always renewing, majestic & always at your service, yet not truly understood by mortals. The greatest part of working here is the people that I interact with on a daily basis: I’m proud to be a part of our exceedingly professional & caring team. We have some of the kindest, friendliest people visiting us from within our community & beyond.

Ashley: Marketing Coordinator & Assistant Operations Manager

Ashley Morabito

I graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Cellular, Molecular & Physiological Biology from Christopher Newport University. I have been in the dental field all of my life. As a little girl, my dad brought me into the office to assist him on emergency cases. I quickly fell in love with the medical field. Medicine is like a puzzle, the signs & symptoms are the pieces that fit together to develop a diagnosis. There is so much joy in being able to find the answer & change someone’s life. I am partnering with my parents to develop a nonprofit so we can continue to make a difference through our mission work around the world. If I were an animal, I would be a dolphin because I love the water & am very adventurous.

“The ever-present smile of the Dolphin is there to remind us that the best way to integrate our intellects, our emotions & our actions is through the simple act of playing.” – Steven D. Farmer, Ph.D.

Clinical Team

Elsy: Clinical Coordinator

Elsy Cienfuegos

I joined the practice thirteen years ago. Originally from El Salvador, I am the mother of three very outgoing girls & one boy. I have a great passion for dentistry & assisting with full mouth reconstruction, implants & sedation. I relish learning new procedures & techniques. My major responsibility is to limit Dr. Morabito’s spending on new gadgets as well as to manage supplies & equipment. I love my job because of the crazy fun & ongoing laughter. I believe the Elephant best describes my personality: responsible, loyal, sensitive, socially connected & immensely determined.

Lily: Dental Assistant

Lily Vela

I am a mother of two boys in high school & am originally from El Salvador. I have been a dental assistant for twenty years, thirteen of which have been with Dr. Morabito. I am responsible for the maintenance of the equipment, assisting & designing CEREC crowns. I love working at this office because of surgery, implants & how all the technology can help our patients. Several years ago, Elsy & I coordinated a dental mission to El Salvador where we treated more than 400 patients. If I were an animal, I would be a bumble bee because they are very hard workers.

Karolina: Lab Coordinator

Karolina Delcid

I am a mother of two active & athletic boys who keep me busy when I’m not at work. I am from Alexandria, VA, but my parents are from El Salvador & Honduras. I joined the dental field about 5 years ago as Front Desk Assistant, but I recently decided to expand my knowledge by working as a Dental Assistant & I have loved it ever since. If I could be any animal, I would be a lion because of how powerful & loyal they are.

Sekina: Dental Assistant

Sekina Shifa

I am originally from Ethiopia. I started in the dental field in 2017 because I am obsessed with smiles. A smile is the first thing that you see when looking at a person. I love the thought of helping everyone achieve a healthy & beautiful smile. I like challenging myself to do better & better every day. Outside the office, I love to exercise because it makes me feel energetic & physically fit. I also enjoy traveling, & if I could be an animal, I would be a bird because birds have the freedom to fly wherever they please.
